The product is made of fabric called Plavitex Acid - polyester coated of PVC both sides. The jacket is fastened with hidden snaps under storm flap and sleeves with wind-cuffs. The product protects workers against concentrated acids, alkalis and saline solutions (H2SO4, HNO3, HCL, NaOH). Thanks to double welded high frequency seams the product also protects against rain and wind. The product conforms with the EN ISO 13688, EN 343 and EN 14605 standards. The product should only be used complete with: acid-lyeproof bibpants (model 412/B) and acid-lyeproof hood (model 412/C).

Fabric:

 

PLAVITEX ACID – a polyester-based fabric coated with PVC. It is resistant to tearing and has waterproof stitching. Due to the unique chemical composition of the coating the fabric has acid-resistant properties and can withstand adverse weather conditions and bending at temperatures down to -50°C. The fabric meets the requirements of the EN 343 and EN 14605 standards, which has been verified by tests conducted by a certified textile testing institute.
